1. Definitions

In these Terms and Conditions:

• "Service" refers to luxury vehicle rental services provided by lumendrivess
• "User" or "You" refers to the individual or entity booking rental services
• "Vehicle" refers to any automobile made available through our rental services
• "Rental Period" refers to the agreed time duration specified in the booking confirmation
• "Agreement" refers to these Terms and Conditions together with any rental contract

2. Acceptance of Terms

By booking or using lumendrivess services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you must not proceed with booking or using our services.

These terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and lumendrivess, operating in Singapore under applicable Singapore law.

3. Service Description

3.1 Available Services

lumendrivess provides three primary service categories:

• Glow City Sedan: Evening luxury sedan rentals with ambient lighting customization
• Luminary Convertible Series: Golden-hour timed convertible rentals
• Illumination Fleet Event Service: Coordinated multi-vehicle arrangements for events

3.2 Service Availability

Services are available within Singapore during our operating hours (Monday-Friday: 9 AM - 8 PM, Saturday: 10 AM - 6 PM, Sunday: by appointment). Specific time slots for golden-hour convertible sessions are determined by astronomical calculation and communicated during booking.

4. Booking and Reservation

4.1 Minimum Age Requirement

All users must be at least 21 years old and hold a valid Singapore driving license or equivalent international driving permit recognized in Singapore.

4.2 Booking Process

Reservations can be made through our website contact form, phone, or email. A booking is confirmed only upon receipt of our written confirmation and payment of the required deposit (typically 30% of total rental cost).

4.3 Advance Notice Requirements

• Glow City Sedan: 48 hours advance notice recommended
• Luminary Convertible: 5-7 days advance booking required
• Illumination Fleet: 7-14 days advance booking required

5. User Responsibilities

5.1 Driver Obligations

Users agree to:

• Operate the vehicle in accordance with Singapore traffic laws and regulations
• Use the vehicle only for lawful purposes during the rental period
• Maintain the vehicle in good condition and report any damage or mechanical issues immediately
• Ensure the vehicle is locked and secured when not in use
• Return the vehicle at the agreed time and location in the same condition as received
• Not use the vehicle while under the influence of alcohol or controlled substances
• Not allow unauthorized persons to drive the vehicle

5.2 Prohibited Activities

Users must not:

• Use the vehicle for racing, competitions, or driver training
• Transport hazardous materials or illegal substances
• Smoke or vape inside the vehicle
• Modify or tamper with vehicle systems, including ambient lighting configurations beyond user-adjustable settings
• Use the vehicle outside Singapore without prior written authorization
• Exceed the vehicle's stated passenger or weight capacity

6. Payment Terms

6.1 Pricing and Fees

Service prices are quoted in Singapore Dollars (SGD) and include:

• Vehicle rental for the specified duration
• Comprehensive insurance coverage
• Ambient lighting system access and customization
• Service-specific inclusions as described in booking confirmation

6.2 Payment Schedule

Payment structure:

• 30% deposit due at booking confirmation
• 70% balance due 48 hours before rental commencement
• Security deposit (typically SGD 500-1000 depending on vehicle) due at vehicle handover, refundable upon satisfactory return

6.3 Additional Charges

Users may incur additional charges for:

• Late return (SGD 100 per hour or part thereof)
• Fuel replacement if not returned at same level
• Cleaning fees for excessive dirt or odors (SGD 150-300)
• Traffic violations or parking fines incurred during rental period
• Damage repair costs beyond normal wear and tear

7. Cancellation and Refund Policy

7.1 Client Cancellations

• More than 7 days before rental: Full deposit refund minus 10% administrative fee
• 3-7 days before rental: 50% deposit refund
• Less than 3 days before rental: No refund
• No-show: Full charges apply

7.2 Weather-Related Cancellations

For Luminary Convertible sessions, if substantial rain occurs during the scheduled golden-hour window, we offer rescheduling to the next available slot or alternative enclosed vehicle at equivalent value. This does not constitute grounds for refund.

7.3 lumendrivess Cancellations

If we must cancel a booking due to vehicle unavailability or unforeseen circumstances, we will provide full refund of all payments made or offer alternative arrangements at your discretion.

8. Insurance and Liability

8.1 Coverage Provided

All rentals include comprehensive insurance coverage through Singapore-registered insurers, covering:

• Third-party liability
• Collision damage (subject to excess)
• Theft protection

8.2 Excess and Deductibles

Standard excess applies per incident as specified in your rental agreement (typically SGD 2,000-5,000 depending on vehicle). Users are responsible for this amount in case of damage or loss.

8.3 Liability Limitations

Users remain liable for damage or loss resulting from prohibited activities, negligence, or breach of these terms, regardless of insurance coverage.

9. Vehicle Condition and Inspection

9.1 Pre-Rental Inspection

Before rental commencement, both parties will conduct a walk-around inspection documenting vehicle condition, including exterior finish, interior state, fuel level, and lighting system functionality.

9.2 Return Inspection

Upon return, vehicle condition will be verified against the pre-rental documentation. Any new damage will be assessed and charged accordingly.

10. Disclaimers

10.1 Service Provision

While we strive to maintain high service standards, we do not guarantee specific vehicle models within each category. Vehicles provided will match the general specifications and quality standards of the booked service tier.

10.2 Photography Results

For Luminary Convertible sessions with photographer option, we provide professional automotive photography services but do not guarantee specific artistic outcomes. Weather and lighting conditions affect final results.

10.3 Event Coordination

For Illumination Fleet services, while we coordinate logistics professionally, we are not responsible for overall event success or third-party vendor performance at the venue.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Singapore law:

• lumendrivess's total liability for any claim shall not exceed the total amount paid for the specific rental in question
• We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental damages including lost profits or missed opportunities
• We are not responsible for personal items left in vehicles
• Force majeure events (natural disasters, government actions, etc.) that prevent service provision do not constitute breach of contract

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless lumendrivess, its employees, and partners from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the vehicle, violation of traffic laws, damage to third-party property, or breach of these terms.

13. Termination

13.1 Our Right to Terminate

We reserve the right to terminate a rental agreement immediately if:

• User violates these terms
• Vehicle is used for illegal purposes
• User provides false information
• Payment obligations are not met

13.2 Effects of Termination

Upon termination, the vehicle must be returned immediately. No refunds will be provided for terminated rentals, and the user remains liable for all charges incurred up to termination.

14. Dispute Resolution

14.1 Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Singapore. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of Singapore courts.

14.2 Informal Resolution

Before pursuing formal legal action, parties agree to attempt resolution through direct negotiation. Contact our customer service team to discuss concerns.

15. General Provisions

15.1 Entire Agreement

These terms, together with your booking confirmation and rental agreement, constitute the complete agreement between you and lumendrivess.

15.2 Severability

If any provision of these terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full effect.

15.3 Waiver

Our failure to enforce any right or provision does not constitute a waiver of that right.

15.4 Assignment

You may not transfer or assign your rights under this agreement. We may assign our rights to an affiliate or successor organization.

16. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes will be communicated via email to registered users and posted on our website. Continued use of our services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of modified terms.

Existing bookings made before changes take effect will be governed by the terms in place at time of booking.
